8th Grade Georgia Studies Constitution Day Workshop

The 8th Grade workshop has been postponed due to weather.  We look forward to hosting it in early 2018.


HS Government Workshop

Wednesday, September 20, 2017  (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM) at the Center for Civil and Human Rights (100 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd in downtown Atlanta between the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola)

We are delighted that you will be joining us for the upcoming High School Government Workshop at the Center for Civil and Human Rights on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. If your plans have changed and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

Also please note that registration begins at 8:00 am. Please ensure that you allow enough time for parking, getting to the capitol, going through security, and completing onsite registration in order to be in your seat by 9:00 am.


Lunch will be sandwhiches (grilled, fried, or wrap), chips, and a drink.

  • Turn right onto Spring St. ramp toward Centennial Olympic Park Dr.
  • Bear right onto Centennial Olympic Park Dr.
  • Take immediate left at traffic light onto Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd.
  • Exit I‑75/85 North and follow Northbound via I‑75/85 route.

Professional Learning Units (Optional)

For those who wish to receive a professional learning unit from your participation in this workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion of the workshop along with a letter to your administrator explaining the events of the day. Attendees must attend the workshop in its entirety in order to receive the certificate of completion.
