Those students meeting the qualifications to receive the Civic Engagement Diploma seal endorsement also meet the qualifications to join the Georgia Civic Engagement Honor Society.

The Honor Society is administered by the Georgia Center for Civic Engagement and is intended to celebrate a student’s commitment to service, honor, and citizenship.

To become a member, a student will submit an online application form certifying they meet the criteria and pay a one-time membership fee.The membership fee for public schools is $25.00.  The membership fee for students of Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) members is $30.00 as it also includes the high school diploma graduation seal.

As a part of their membership, students will receive an honor society lapel pin and membership certificate, beautiful red, white, and blue graduation honor cords, and have their name listed on the honor society directory.

All submissions must be completed by April 15 to ensure that the items are delivered to the students in time for commencement ceremonies.
