Upcoming Program Alert: Youth Training Conference (YTC)

July 18-20 (Fri-Sat-Sun), 2008 | Rock Eagle (Eatonton, Georgia)"Y" Club Leadership Training

Youth Training Conference (YTC) is just the way to start your "Y" Club year off right.  The band goes to band camp, right?  The cheerleaders go to cheer camp, right?  Just as with either of these activities, the best way for a "Y" Club to be most effective and successful is proper preparation!

Who We Are

The State YMCA of Georgia is part of a nationwide YMCA teen leadership initiative, active in nearly 40 states. Since 1929, our organization has provided teens with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and experience democracy.  State YMCA of Georgia programs consist of our Youth and Government model legislature, "Y" Clubs, as well as our many teen leadership initiatives.  Most of our participants come from public and private schools from across the state that have a participating "Y" Club.

There are several components that make up our teen programs, including:

Students can participate in one or all of our teen programs and register through their local school "Y" Clubs.

Leadership

The Executive Director is assisted by a staff consisting of four (4) District Directors, a Development Director, an Office Manager, volunteers and "Y" Club Advisors.  Click here for contact information of State YMCA staff members.
