ImageAs a participant in the Junior Youth Assembly Program, your first duty is to write and submit a piece of proposed legislation, called a bill. Bills are written in the hope that, if passed into law, they will help solve problems or resolve issues in society, thereby improving the quality of life. As such, the laws themselves have tremendous power, for they can be used as tools for controlling human behavior, resulting in more or less freedom and security for individual citizens.
