ImageHelp make Georgia teens become stronger leaders. Teens today face greater challenges than ever before.

At the State YMCA of Georgia, we pride ourselves in making a significant impact on the lives of teens. Our teen programs offer plenty of opportunities for positive and life-long relationships with the youth in our communities. All of our programs are service-learning based and promote the developmental asset approach in teens. We develop leadership in teens though program involvement and meaningful community service opportunities.

Our Teen Leadership programs are designed to help the youth of today become the citizens and community leaders of tomorrow. Programs are led by caring staff who help teens develop confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. Model UN and Youth and Government give teens a unique hands-on experience in how systems and government work. They also give youth the opportunity to make new friends, build self-esteem, discover new ideas, and find their voice.
Your gift is greatly appreciated and fully deductible as a charitable contribution.  The YMCA is a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) organization under IRS code.

"In addition to meeting some of the greatest people I've ever known, the YMCA has helped my spiritual life grow. I became more social with my relationship with Christ and I have the Y to thank for that."  -- Penny Mullins, Alumni Volunteer

"CLC was my first experience in a Christian youth setting; it was so amazing to see an auditorium full of kids who were so excited to live lives that glorified God. Because of my experience I started studying my Bible, which lead to Christ really moving in my life which lead to all the different mission trips and ministry opportunities that I am now involved in. It is an amazing program."  -- Laura Twyman, Alumni Volunteer

"Being involved with the YMCA was the best thing I have done. I have met so many people that have made such a huge impact on my life. Also through my involvement with the organization I have grown as an individual. I have learned my strengths and how to improve upon my weaknesses." -- Christina Trammell, YMCA intern/Alum

"I've participated in a number of clubs and organizations from as far back as the 6th grade, up until now a senior college student, and none of those clubs compare to the YMCA. The impact that I received from the Student YMCA not only strengthen my leadership skills, improved my morals it has ultimately changed my life." -- Donnie Wooten Junior, College Alumni Staff
